inside easton amos’s nursery
Welcome to my sweet baby boy, Easton Amos’s nursery… after having two girls and designing thier nurseries (see ellery’s, here & goldie’s, here) i was absolutley clueless on how to decorate for a boy, but was excited for the challenge and to switch up the space. I had the same furniture for my girls, it was light, bright, & white, i knew if brandon agreed i definitely wanted to get new furniture, i loved the idea of bringing in black, high contrast, and a fun wallpaper, so that’s where i started.
First thing i found and loved was his crib, it was the statement piece of the nursery, the perfect mix of neutral & masculine. I chose his wallpaper next, inspired by one of my designer favs Shea, Studio Mcgee. I’m really loving the all over prints right now, prints on prints, such a fun trend that I ran with for this space. I styled the rest of his nursery with personal touches that described my easton, souvenir’s from his hospital stay when he had his heart surgery, a sketch from one of our favorite european cities i hope to take him one day, & lots of different textures making the space fill warm and finished. i couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out, hope you enjoy going through some of my favorite pics from our shoot with my girl, Megan Welker.
